Taking Surveys To Earn Money Online

This is one area where a lot of people get caught with scams online. If you are looking to make money online then you will have seen many adverts which say make $1,000 - $3,000 per month just filling out surveys. Many, many people look at surveys and see the amount of money they can earn without any consideration about the work involved. Many companies look at surveys to get information on how to improve their products and services. If you think about the number of market research companies around this is what they are doing in effort, running a number of surveys on behalf of the companies that employ them. Completing surveys can be an honest way to earn a living but you need to be aware that there are many scams linked with surveys as well. How many emails have you received which tell you about the benefits of completing surveys. Do you really think they are all from people who complete surveys or do you think they are after getting someone else to sign up and give them a couple of bucks for their trouble. You could do a search and come up with a lot of companies offering cash for surveys. You will spend time completing all the forms and then you sit back and wait for the surveys to commence. As you read the small print (you really should read all the small print before committing yourself to anything online) you might find that very few of the companies pay you any money. Most of the companies will pay through points, sweepstakes or products. This means that they will give you points for each survey completed but it will take you a good year to get enough points to have a half decent product. With the sweepstakes you are entered into these and you might win the money but there again you might win the lottery if you do it. In either case you are not able to quit your day job until you have won the money, the difference being that surveys will take you time to do. Qualifying for surveys is another issue that most people are not aware of when they sign up. You have to complete a survey which can take about 10 minutes to do, and from your answers the company will determine whether you are eligible to do any more surveys for them. You might be rejected time and time again. When it happens for the first time you might not find a problem as it was only 10 minutes but what about the 50th survey where everything in between has also rejected you. That is over eight hours work for nothing. When you do find a survey company that pays, you might still be in for a shock. Instead of the 10 minute servey that pays $25-$30 you might find the survey took 30 minutes to complete, and the reward paid to you might be only $1 or $2. You might end up earning just $5 an hour which means you have to be working 200 hours just to make $1,000. That doesn’t sound like money for doing something simple. Sometimes you can get emails telling you about a gift certificate you are going to get. As far as work goes all you need to do is complete a form. Well, people seem to be elastic with the truth, this isn’t what is require. You will need to enter your information and then you normally have to sign up for various offers and there are many different clauses before you get your gift certificate if you ever get your gift certificate. As with all things you have to be very careful what you do and which companies you sign up with. It might be possible to earn those sorts of figures from completing survey but it might also take a lot of time and effort to find companies that pay good rates of pay.
