Writing Fantastic Brochure Copy

The copy you prepare for brochures is different to what you would have on a website. The English you use can be, for one thing, a bit fuller than that of your website, which has to attract the reader in seconds. You can have less sentence fragments and slogans hanging in the air, for one thing. When a potential customer has taken the trouble to pick up your brochure, you have their attention... Well, initially, at least (so dont mess things up). Unlike with a website, there is a bit more room in a brochure to talk about your company and its history, but its still of utmost importance that you write something direct that doesn't beat around the bush too much. You should always be concerned with giving the customer what they want up front, which means: what can you do for me? Customers need to know what they can get out of working with you; information on the number of employees you have and your year of incorporation is, at best, secondary. What you should try to do when you commu nicate with your potential customers is make them imagine the future. Make them imagine looking back at what a fantastic job youve done for them. I find it makes a stronger case than saying if you use us, this is what we can give you if you take away the element of chance. Make them think of when its already happened and tell them how great it was. The first thing you need when you write a brochure is a checklist to get you started. Try to tick off as many as you can: What its being written for (informational? Promoting sales?) Who its aimed at (what kinds of companies, profile of people reading the brochure) How many pages it has Where to get the information to write the new brochure (marketing division? Interviews with R&D staff? Engineers?) When the last brochure came out When the new one is due to be replaced (in other words, whats its life-cycle?) When you need the copy to be finished (hey, dont laugh. A tight deadline can have a big

How To Make Effective Color Brochure Prints

If you want to boost the sales of a product or promote a new service, using color brochure prints is one of the options that you can do. Not only are brochures affordable, they are also very versatile materials that you can use in a number of ways. However, it is not easy to make an effective brochure that captures your readers attention. Remember that every material that you send out leaves an impression on your prospective customer and leaving the wrong impression a wrong impression is detrimental to your business. So what can you do to ensure that you have effective color brochure prints? Here are some tips. 1. Customer always comes first. This is always the case even in brochure design. So before spending your time in planning your color brochure prints, you should make sure that you have an idea of who your customers are and what your customers want. Make sure that you understand how they think and make their decisions. Talk to your sales staff or better yet, to your customer themselves to ge t an idea. 2. Don't waste precious space. Use all your spaces wisely. Make sure that everything you include in your design is just the important elements. Also, never place anything that your customers do not care about. Your main goal is to sell your product. All the spaces in your brochures should be devoted to this goal and this goal only. 3. Sell, sell, sell. Generally, people think of themselves more than they think of others. This is the same in business. People do not care about your product or company. What they care about is how your product will help them and make their lives easier. Pattern your brochure design keeping this fact in mind. Remember that people do not buy clappers to turn the lights on and off. They buy them so that they do not have to find the switch. 4. Include a call to action. After getting your readers interested in what youre selling, its time to step it up a notch and tell your prospective clients what you want them to do next. Never assume that they would loo

Four Keys Toward Effective Brochure Printing

Brochure printing is an effective way of marketing your products and services. Their versatility makes them the ideal marketing tool when you have several marketing campaigns planned. You can hand them out personally, stack them up and leave them in crowded places and you can use them in your direct mail marketing campaigns. However making an effective brochure is not an easy task. Because of this, having an effective brochure printing strategy is important. Here are four things that you should always keep in mind when creating your brochure designs. Key Point Number 1: Grab your audiences attention The first step to take in our brochure printing strategy is to grab the attention of your target audience. First, you should be able to distinguish who your target audience is and which services they need. Then you should know how they think. Know what makes them interested, what things they need, what things they want. Get into their minds and strive to know them better than they know themselves. Use the information that you gain here to make your headlines as catchy to them as possible. Remember your target audience and make your designs as specific as possible. The more specific your design is, the better connection you make with your target niche. Remember that it takes less than 5 seconds to look at your brochure and decide whether or not it is worthy of reading. Key Point Number 2: Pique their interest After coaxing your customer on reading the inside pages of your brochures, your next task is to make sure that they will not be bored with your content. Group your points neatly so that your readers can easily read your text and understand your message. Make sure that you pay special attention to your headlines. Readers skim the headlines first when reading your text so your headlines to hold your readers attention, and move them through the copy. With the correct use of headline and layout, your audience will not notice that they have read through your copy entirely. On the other hand, havin

Tired Of That Tired Old Brochure

Brochures are one of the cornerstones of effective advertising, but not all brochures are equally effective. Im sure Im not the only one whos been in an office and noticed brochure stands that are dust covered and seemingly neglected. The difference between a space filler and an advertising dynamo is care in design, so dont let your brochures become tired and stale. Consider some of the following ideas when planning your brochure printing. - Grab them before they go. Most people will not open a brochure that doesnt give some real benefit or a compelling reason on the front cover. Keep your company name down at the bottom of the front cover and leave room at the top for your headline. Additionally, unless your companys logo is integrated into your company name, consider placing it on the back cover. That way it is still prominent, but isnt detracting from your attention grabber on the cover.
