Get As Many Free Baby Product Samples As Possible

Before you start reading, you should know that our main goal is to give you as much helpful info about free baby product samples, as we can fit on our page If you are a new parents, there are thousands upon thousands of companies desperate to get you as a loyal consumer. Taking care of babies is extremely expensive, and new parents spend thousands upon thousands of dollars every year on toys, diapers, baby food, cribs, blankets, carriers, strollers, and many other baby products. If you are a new parent, you probably already know this. What you probably don't know, however, is that there is an upside to all of this financial hardship: there are many different companies out there willing to give out free baby product samples in a bid to get your business. You can find free baby product samples basically anyplace where new parents shop or congregate. In baby stores, supermarkets, Preschools, and community recreation centers with baby classes, You will occasionally come across eager executives willing to give yo u free diapers, food, clothing, or other useful baby products. These suppliers, however, are unreliable. You only really find them if your community is being targeted by marketers. A better way to get free baby product sample items is to look on Google. There are many different companies which, if contacted, will send you sample products free of charge. Before we go an further, lets take a moment to review what we have learned so far about this amazing subject. Of course, there is a downside to these free baby product samples. By applying for them, you put yourself on mailing lists. This, of course, increases the amount of junk mail you will get in the following months and years. Nonetheless, a little extra junk mail is a small price to pay for all that free stuff! When you are a new parent, after all, every penny counts. If there are companies out there willing to give you samples of free baby products, it is completely worth having to wade through the junk mail from time to time. Another great thing abo

How Bringing Home A Newborn Baby Will Change Your Life

The magical day finally arrived. My baby I and are finally here. She was a douzy at ten pounds. In a few days we finally got to take her home and were we in for a rude and constant awakening. As I write this she is screaming her lungs out for no apparent reason. That ladies and gentleman is the nature of motherhood. You can do whatever you think is possible to try and help her but in the end you cant understand her and she has no other way to tell you what's wrong or what she may need besides screaming and crying. I have a close friend that tried to describe to me the feeling she got when she first took her baby home. It may sound weird but this is what she said to me. She said all this crying is driving me crazy; I just want to kick her out a window. Now we know she wouldnt even dare do any such thing but that point goes to show you what kind of guerilla warfare goes on in a home the first month that a baby arrives. If you are one of those type of people that cant function without 8 hours of continuou s sleep than I urge you to never have a baby or to find someone to wake up in the middle of the night to take care of them. The first month we woke up every hour on the hour to give her her feeding and to change her. Even during the day it isnt any easier because she still needs to be fed and she still needs to be changed. She will wake you up to make sure that it happens. Essentially there is almost no sleep involved for you during the first month of parenthood. I know thats a tough pill to swallow but there really isnt anything you can do about it. You either go in knowing full well what is going to happen or you dont go in at all. Reading this right now doesnt even begin to do justice to exactly what I am talking about because words can never describe the skull penetrating screaming and crying or the crippling effect of no sleep on the body and mind. It is something that you need to experience for yourself but it doesnt hurt to be forewarned about what terrors lie ahead. I love my baby and wat

What To Expect After The First Month With Your Baby

So today I have been with my baby for one month and it has been a crazy and hectic month. I am more tired than usual and I think that within the entire month I have probably slept maybe about 2 hours a day and that unfortunately includes weekends too. But it all happens the way its supposed to and I am always happy when I see my child and even though she is sleeping most of the time except for the times when she is keeping me up everything is great. The other day she finally started trying to lift her head when we had her down on her stomach. It was amazing because it might be the first time she has tried to lift her head to see what's going on around her and it shows that we are nurturing her and that she is developing at a rate that she is supposed to be. She doesnt really like to be on her stomach too often but we usually try to see if she will go for it and when we put her down she tried to lift her head. It was an amazing thing to see. She also seems to be responding to voices and sounds in gener al. I would stand behind her and call her name and she would respond by moving around and I can see that she is trying to figure out where that voice is coming from. I dont think she knows who is making that noise or for what reason but she hears something and she tries to search it out and find it. Its quite an amazing thing to see your child develop from someone who didnt have any of these abilities to a child who is actively developing and becoming someone she is meant to be. Another of these little events that happened to me the other day was actually occurring as I was trying to feed her. I was feeding her and her head was resting on my arm in a way that she could see my face. She stopped eating and just sat there and stared at me. I was wondering if she was ok or just not hungry but then I realized that she was looking at me and she was meaning to do it. It wasnt a sign that she wasnt hungry anymore but she was actually studying me. It was intense and gave me such a thrill to see my child actua

Showing Your Baby How To Crawl May Teach Them How To Do It

This Memorial Day weekend was a great week. We had a parade which I took my beautiful baby girl to see. We werent there that long because we woke up a bit late but she did see some of it. Along with that her uncle was with her and he was teaching her how to crawl. She didnt exactly get it because she kept falling down and couldnt get the coordination of it but that didnt last too long. He would crawl around her very slowly and show her exactly how to do it. Then he would try and get her to do it. Thinking about crawling you never really think about how hard that actual movement really is. If you use the wrong combination of hand and leg movement you end up falling flat on your face. Imagine just how difficult it makes it for a child who cant walk or speak at the present moment. As he would crawl around her and show her how to crawl she would study him and watch his legs and arms move together. It was amazing to see her face as she studied him and his movements. He did them slow and with all the inten tion of her learning them as she watched him do it. She is a great mimicker as it seems all babies are because all their habits and language seems to be picked up from their parents. Continuing on her uncle left that Monday and the very next day just like clockwork she was up and crawling like a little race car. After that there was no stopping her. I cant describe the feeling that I felt watching her take her first crawling steps. I was staring at her in utter amazement because I didnt think she would be doing it so soon after being shown how. Its such an amazing thing to see especially when it is your first child. I didnt know how to react but I was overjoyed. Unfortunately now I am going to be and really need to be more worried about her. One minute she could be sitting next to me, the next she could be gone. Thats exactly what happened the other day. She was sitting next to me on the floor and I was working. I looked at her doing something one minute and the next she was gone. I got up to see

Scrapbooking Keepsake Ideas For Your Next Baby Shower Event

If you have ever gone out to the store and tried to buy a baby album you would be surprised to see that ridiculous price they command. The same goes for materials which are specifically used to make scrapbooks. It is a million dollar industry because they command such high prices and people actually go out and buy these items. What would you say if I were to tell you that you dont need to go out and spend a ridiculous amount to have memories for years to come? On top of that, these memories can make fun and amazing games at the baby shower itself. There are a few things you can go and buy such construction paper and all sorts of colorful markers as well as scrapbooking tape. You can also buy different kinds of glitter and anything else you wish to make your scrapbook look great. The first thing you can do is ask each person who attends your party to bring just a simple index card or you can provide it for them. The reason for this is because you can have them draw out their names and put them in the book so you can always know who was there for you on your day. Another great idea would be if you dont know the gender of your baby, you can have your guests guess a gender and then give himher an appropriate name. It is a great way to get good ideas from the people who mean the world to you. Another great idea is to use that construction paper to have your guests write their words of wisdom on. This can be something your child looks at later on in life and something that can be looked back upon with a smile. If you went and bought some scrapbooking tape this is your chance to use it. You can have your guests each bring a picture of themselves or maybe more than one. With this you can tape the picture of the people who gave advice right next to the advice itself. That way it isnt a struggle later on to remember who said what and when. If on the other hand you are looking for scrapbooks that are premade there are a wonderful selection of books that come with everything you could ever need. They are ta

Baby Shower Gift Ideas For Your Next Shower

Is there anything more exciting than the arrival of a new baby? The instant the parents-to-be find out that they're expecting, every moment in life takes on an added layer of meaning. Whether it's thinking of names, planning a nursery or breaking the news to an older brother or sister, it seems that everything is suddenly a special event. Of course the one thing new babies need the most is love, but the list of supplies and equipment that new parents need to outfit and care for their new arrival is mind-boggling! When trying to decide on a gift it's easy to get overwhelmed. Here are four other fun and functional baby gift ideas that won't put a strain on your busy schedule OR your budget: Baby Album of Firsts While the pregnancy itself may seem to take an eternity, once the baby is born, time flies by at warp speed! As new parents, they're going to feel a longing to capture as many of the "firsts" as possible -- the baby's first smile, laugh, roll over, solid food, crawl, word, step, tooth, etc. The list of events is endless, and so will the memories with a baby photo album of firsts. Bib-a-Day Okay, we know that once babies start eating "real" food it's more like a bib-a-minute, but don't you think that new parents would appreciate a week's worth of bibs? Check out the choices at your local baby or department store. You can get the same bib in a variety of colors. Go for a cute animal theme or get seven bibs that are completely different from one another. Bundle of Basics Many essential baby products are small and inexpensive, and combining a whole bunch of them can make a terrific and useful gift. It is very easy to go out and buy baby lotion, shampoo, mild soap, diaper rash ointment, Vaseline, washcloths, itsy-bitsy fingernail clippers, a brush and comb set, tub toys, a teething ring -- the list goes on and on! Combine them together and you have a winning combination of gifts that will all be useful. You can put the goodies in a pretty basket, a small hamper, or just wrap it all up in

Baby Shower Foods To Wow Your Guests

When your friends first find out you are pregnant it is such an exciting time and it is filled with such joy. As time goes by and they start to plan a baby shower you realize that this is going to be harder than you originally thought. There are many choices for you to make that range from the decorations, games, and especially the food. Catering to everyones tastes is a touch gig and it is even harder to accomplish if you dont know who is going. With the guide and tips below you will never have to worry about it again. The first course at your great baby shower should start with finger food. Finger foods are easy to serve and dont have too much clean up afterwards. They are actually quite easy to serve as well as clean up after. Finger foods range from chips and dip to peanuts and little candies. For example, you can set up a giant bowl of all different sorts of chips inside and have it sitting on a tray. Around this huge bowl you can set up different smaller bowls that have an array of different dips to choice from. Another idea would be to either buy a different array of fruits. You can cut them up and place them into small bowls which you can serve to your guests. This takes a lot of work as you have to peel and slice many different kinds of fruits. An alternative to this would be if you went out and bought the fruits that are already cut up for you. This takes a lot of the work out of it for you and allows you to focus on other things. Dont forget that even though this may be a good way to go, this convenience does command a price. Usually it isnt cheap for the small amount that it buys. You have some seriously health conscious people attending then you can always use the same idea with the finger foods and apply it to a vegetable tray. It is a great idea to have a large bowl of carrots and broccoli and baby tomatoes in a large bowl and have that bowl surrounded by smaller bowls filled with all sorts of dip. A good choice for dips could be spinach dip, dill dip, and ranch dip. These all have

The Right Baby Strollercarrier For You And Your Baby

When it comes to the right gear to cart your baby around on your vacation, choosing something thats comfortable for you and safe for your baby is of utmost importance. Having said that, you might also want to consider how youll look with one of these contraptions. A front pack or sling isnt for everybody, and neither is a back pack. Here are the most popular modes of baby transport, and their pros and cons. Slings These are not for every baby, obviously. Take your babys weight into account when you buy a sling for your trip. Plus, they are not meant to be worn over long periods of time. Any type of baby carrier whether a sling, front pack or back pack has its own share of strain involved. Theres no point in having a baby carrier that leaves you tried and uncomfortable. Borrow a friends backpack, and try it around the house for size for a few hours at a stretch to see if its for you. The biggest advantage of slings is that they offer young babies a relaxed position, and they are perfect fo r breastfeeding on the move. No need to rush to find a rest room when feeding time comes around and no need to struggle with blankets and cover ups. Front packs and backpacks These make getting around rough territory easier. If youre planning on walking long lengths, pushing a stroller around may be cumbersome especially if youre out of the city. A hands free baby carrier is a terrific option, and the chance to experience sights and sounds keeps baby occupied and happy too. Like with slings, try on a back pack or front pack in the store before you actually buy one. They dont look particularly appealing on some women, and theres no point in using something that makes you feel awful Strollers With a stroller, youll have your hands full all the time, but youll look a lot better than when youre using a back pack or front pack. A baby in a front pack means you are at risk of little accidents like vomit. Not so with strollers. Also, strollers are soothing, and get babies to sleep faster. What

Baby Shower Invitations Require A Bit Of Careful Planning

Your baby shower is a very special occasion and so naturally it is only right that you should want to formally invite your guests. So, unless a baby shower is going to be a surprise or is being arranged rather quickly, then written invitations are invariably the best method to use. If this is not possible then personally inviting guests by phone is acceptable and e-mailed invitations should be avoided despite the fact that they may appear to be quick and convenient. Provided your budget allows then your baby shower invitations can be custom printed but this really is not necessary as there are a lot of excellent pre-made invitations available either locally or on the Internet. Alternatively you can also design and make your own baby shower invitations if you have enough time and a bit of creative talent.

Organic Kids Clothing And Baby Clothing Why

Organic clothing for babies and kids, just how viable is it for the world in which we live in and why should we bother? Would it have been possible to imagine a world merely ten years ago where it was possible to buy organic baby clothing and childrens organic clothing? Why would we appear to be bothered by this at all? The answer to these questions would appear to lie within the psyche of the modern day parent to be. Ask any young mother (or any mother in fact) what one of the prime motivators is with regards to their newly born offspring and you will find that it is by and large the desire to make sure that their childrens clothes are firstly of the best available design and functionality and secondly wherever possible of the most user and environmentally friendly construction.

Baby Shower Mother Goose Themed Food Ideas

When you plan a baby shower, the 2 most important things are the guests and the food! Sometimes, when you decide to throw a themed baby shower, it may be difficult to plan out the perfect food to complement the exact theme. But here are some suggestions on how to incorporate Mother Goose food into your baby shower: 1. For fun, write as many different nursery rhymes as you can think of on note cards. Make as many note cards as the number of your guests. Then cut each note card at the middle of each rhyme. Seat your guests by giving each the first half of a nursery rhyme and having her find the rest of the rhyme at a place setting.

How To Plan A Baby Shower Without Breaking The Bank

Everyone feels happy and joyous when a close friend or relative announces that she is expecting a baby. Even though somewhere in the world, a baby is born literally every second, the fact that someone you know is expecting a child is very special news. For some expectant women this may be the most exciting thing that is ever going to happen to them. Some people spend years trying to fall pregnant so the occasion for them can be overwhelmingly emotional. Whatever the circumstances this news is a great reason for a celebration and this is usually in the form of a baby shower. The baby shower event is traditionally the occasion where friends and relatives get together to celebrate the impending arrival and to share some tips and give presents that the parents-to-be will find useful for their baby.

How To Plan A Baby Shower

Planning a baby shower is not the easiest task on the face of the earth. There are so many details to consider when organizing such an event that it is easy to become lost in the confusion. It is always a good idea to create lists and it is always a good idea to delegate responsibility when planning a baby shower. One of the mistakes the organizer commonly makes is trying to do too much on her own. Why run from store to store when you know that Cousin Sally works right next to a great discount store? She can run one or two errands for you. Include Cousin Sally when you are planning a baby shower. You will be surprised by how delighted she will be to help. If she isnt, then there is really no loss. You just have to work around it.

How To Buy A Baby Crib

Buying a baby crib is often the first big decision you will make as a parent. Choosing a crib must be taken seriously. Safety is the most important consideration. Cribs manufactured in the United States have strict safety standards, which have been in place since 1973. These standards are updated as needed. Keep these things in mind when you buy a baby crib. Design Safety is the number one concern with design. Be sure that the slats of the crib are no further apart than 238 inches. The head and foot ends of the crib should not contain cutouts. A baby can get caught in these cutouts and may be unable to get free. The head and foot ends are best made of either solid design or slats.

The Ancient Meaning Of Baby Names

Serving dual interests is my interest this month. Heres a list I hope will appeal to both prospective parents and writers who are stumped for some good character names. The focus is on names used between the Norman Conquest and the year 1300 in England, names that have in some cases been out of circulation for many years, but might now safely be revived. Finding appropriate period names can be a real challenge for a writer. While medieval England is not the most common story timeframe, medieval names certainly hold more surprises than a later period might offer. In trying to serve the dual interests of writer and parent, Ive selected those names I think are most appealing to the modern ear. There are some names, like Nest, for a girl, or Godelot, for a boy, which probably just dont stand the test of time.

More Creative Baby Shower Ideas

Baby showers are not always the traditional all-female afternoon parties they once were. Baby showers may take place at a restaurant, at the office, or in the soon to be aunt and uncles backyard, and may include both of the new parents as well as both of their friends. Todays baby showers feature unique themes that are tailored to best fit the parents to be and their particular needs for the new addition. You may plan a baby shower in the morning or hold a traditional afternoon gathering with light refreshments, or even a late afternoon barbecue outside if weather permits. Multiple time moms-to-be with plenty of stuff for the new baby, but no time for herself, will love a spa baby shower. Decorate with fresh flowers in glass vases, candles, and linen tablecloths. Place a Small Fry flip frame on the table for your guest of honor to take home afterwards. Your refreshments might include fancy finger sandwiches, rich chocolates, and exotic fruits like pineapple and kiwi. Instead of shower games, consider giving one another manicures or applying relaxing facial masks. Instruct guests to bring a gift to help the new mom find time for herself, like gift certificates for take-out restaurants, day spas, or nail salons, babysitting coupons, and pampering bath products.

Fun And Creative Baby Shower Ideas

Planning a baby shower can be a lot of fun, but it can also be difficult to find just the right decorations, games, and refreshments for your shower. Choosing a theme to plan your baby shower around is a good way to bring all the aspects of a baby shower together in a uniform way. Baby shower themes can be as simple or as detailed as you like, just keep in mind the likes and dislikes of the expectant parents you are planning for and be creative. A simple, tried and true baby shower theme is baby bottles. Baby bottle shaped shower invitations are easy to locate and many bakeries offer bottle shaped cakes. Play some fun games that involve baby bottles, like dropping clothespins into the bottle or tossing coins into one, and use small bottles without the nipple for drinking glasses during the shower. Remember to wash out the bottles for the new mom to take home. Decorated baby bottles filled with candy or bath beads make wonderful shower favors for guests at an all girl shower.

Planning A Baby Shower

Traditionally, baby showers were held a few months before the expectant moms due date and were thrown by one of her closest friends. Guests were limited to the new mom and grandmothers and a group of female friends and relatives, and the baby shower was typically held at the home of the hostess. Today, the possibilities for planning a baby shower are endless. Coed baby showers that involve both the mom and dad to be are becoming increasingly popular. If you plan to throw a coed baby shower, be sure to invite plenty of men besides the soon to be father and make the invitations, decorations, and overall theme of the shower suitable for both men and women. A casual, friendly get together with the new parents and plenty of food would probably be more appropriate than a traditional baby shower. You may even consider a coed baby shower barbecue.

A Baby Stroller Buying Guide

Baby strollers help out a lot of parents in taking care of their baby, but be careful when buying one, because if you make the wrong choice, you could end up with a lot of trouble and inconvenience. So how can parents pick the right stroller? Well, you have to realize that different strollers are available for just about any kind of lifestyle. To help you pick one, first consider the main purpose for buying one, and then look for a stroller thats suitable for your lifestyle and your baby. Of course, when it comes to your baby, you know that safety is of the utmost importance. It would be wise to check the stability of the stroller, and try it to see if it remains solidly upright even if you hang a heavy diaper bag on its handles. The harness comes next. For babies who might be staying in the stroller for long periods of time, look for a five-point harness. A three-point harness will do fine if used occasionally for short walks outside.
